近日，舊金山虛擬現(xiàn)實團隊Construct VR宣布關門倒閉。Construct VR是一家由著名孵化器YC投資的VR創(chuàng)業(yè)公司，致力于企業(yè)VR應用的分發(fā)。根據(jù)映維網收到的通知郵件Construct VR因沒有可持續(xù)的商業(yè)模式而走向關門。Construct VR在郵件中說：“我們開始ConstructVR的愿景是為你的應用構建一個最為簡單的分發(fā)平臺，我們非常自豪于能與全世界最具影響力的VR公司合作。在創(chuàng)辦至今的17個月里，我們有幸與成千上萬名VR體驗開發(fā)者合作，從客服培訓到建筑設計。能夠看到你的VR創(chuàng)新是我們最為高興的經歷。跟所有企業(yè)一樣，我們一直在與時間賽跑，希望可以開發(fā)出一個可持續(xù)發(fā)展的商業(yè)模型。我們最終探索出數(shù)十個營收策略，但無法尋找出一個可以維持我們快速增長的可行商業(yè)模型。因此，我們非常遺憾地宣布，我們將會關閉ConstructVR?！?

We believe that your ability to turn imagination into reality will be the reason that VR will positively affect everyone’s life in the future.We started ConstructVR with the grandiose vision to create the simplest distribution platform for your apps and are extremely proud to have been able to collaborate with the most influential VR companies worldwide. In the 17 months since we launched, we’ve had the privilege to work with tens of thousands of people working on VR experiences ranging from customer service training to architectural design. It has been the most exhilarating experience to see your VR innovations!As with any business, we’ve been racing against the clock to develop a sustainable business model. We ended up exploring dozens of monetization strategies but were unable to find the viable business model we needed to sustain our rapid growth. As a result, we are deeply sorry to announce that we are shutting down ConstructVR.From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for supporting the ConstructVR team.
